Vilnius 給我的第一印象是: 「共產黨來過這兒! 」 由巴士站到Hostel的路上, 沿路破落的建築, 凹凸不平的馬路, 稀稀疏疏的行人, 還有我們的Hostel 叫做 Come to Vilnius. 多麼地有馬克思主義的風味呀!!! 其實, Vilnius 沒那麼糟! 花點時間往舊城裡走, 可以發現其實觀光很發達. 它有許多教堂, 漂亮的廣場, 很有味道的餐廳及有趣的小巷弄. 唯一讓我受不了的是教堂實在太多了, 所以到處看得到阿公阿媽進香團!!! Hostel 推薦了附近的本地餐廳, 有我喝過最好的私釀啤酒, 飲料及食物價格超級便宜, 讓我們很開心!!! 那啤酒, 至今仍然懷念~~~ When I first arrived Vilnius, I felt the traces of communism everywhere -- the shabby buildings, uneven roads and scarcely seen pedestrians. Even our hostel is called: Come to Vilnius. However, it is actually better than my first impression. The old town has many nicely restored buildings and churches, pretty plazas, nice restaurants and interesting alleys. My only complaint is that there are way too many churches. I saw so many gray-hair tourists trotting every church, it was unbelievable. My best memory is the home-brew beer I've tasted at a local restaurant which was recommended by our hostel hostess. The food was great. And the price was beyond reasonable.
